One of a Kind Rustic Walnut Table for sale!

In July of 2011 we found a walnut stump that we knew would make a beautiful table base. After the stump was stripped of the bark this is what it looked like. We wanted to make a rustic table that would show the one of a kind beauty of the walnut wood.

It took over a year to air dry and prep the stump but it was worth the wait for this striking walnut table.  The 60" round top is also made from walnut wood, with an overall table height of 35 1/2". The stump and table top is hand stained with a provincial stain and finished with our conversion varnish. The table is available for $5999.00.

  Jennifer and Eric of Hermitage came in wanting a specific size table and sideboard. They didn't want it to be painted black so they chose Brown Maple with the Onyx stain. From a distance it looks black but close up you can see the beautiful grain of the wood.

  We built them an 42" wide x 72" long extension table with four leaves which makes the table 10 feet long! The Mission sideboard was to fit the area they wanted so we were able to convert our standard 49" wide sideboard to 55" wide. The middle door was added instead of a wine rack. They were happy to get what they wanted and not "this is what available, take it or leave it".

 

Upholstered Headboard on King size bed

Jill from Pittsburgh came to us with the special request of having an upholstered headboard on her bed.

She had seen it elsewhere but couldn't find anyone to build it to her specifications.

 We were able to have a Bunker Hill Style bed made with the option of being able to

change out the cushions of the headboard.

The bed is a king size with Brown Maple wood with Rich Tobacco stain. She also wanted a low footboard so she can sit on the end of the bed.

 The Shaker dresser was made to be narrower but higher than a standard dresser.



Shaker Hard Rock Maple Dining Room Set

 Ken and Amy of Jamestown came to us looking for a large dining room table made with light colored wood for their lakefront home. They selected a Natural Hard Rock Maple dining room set. They wanted everyone to be able to sit around the table for dinners and get togethers. It looks like they will accomplish that!

 The Shaker Double pedestal table made from Hard Rock Maple is 72" long and 48" wide and it has three leaves in it.

Here you can see the beautiful grain in the maple wood.

Memorial Day

Mike and Louise from Pittsburgh ordered a Bent double glider and swivel glider to put on their porch. It is the new Patriot Blue with Ivory colors and it matches up well with their current outdoor furniture. They are getting ready for Memorial Day Weekend and we hope they enjoy it!

Summer is coming!

We had a lot of fun delivering some outdoor furniture in the last couple of weeks to the customers who bought from us at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show. Here are some of the creative color combinations that our customers selected. Hope everyone enjoys their new outdoor furniture.

2012 Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show

We had so much fun meeting with all kinds of people at the show. It was great seeing previous customer as well as meeting new ones!
